Messages From the Heart
Take a slow breath....
Welcome to Messages from the Heart
Each month, I share a reflection inspired byt he seasons, the wisdom o nature, and the quiet teachings of the heart.
These messages are invitations to pause, listen and remember the strength and love that already live within you.
August-Trusting What We Cannot Yet See
Take a slow breath....
August is a curious month.
The fullness of summer is still around us.
the trees are green, gardens are abundant and warm days stretch before us.
And yet if we listen closely, we can sense that something is beginning to change.
the light falls differently.
Evenings arrive a little sooner.
nature quietly reminds us that nothing remains exactly as it is.
Perhaps this is ne of the reasons August can teach us so much about trust.
We spend much of our lives wanting to know what comes next.
We want signs.
We want certainty.
We want to see the road before we agree to walk it.
But some of the most important passages of our lives begin before we know where they will lead.
There are times when a relationship changes.
A dream begins calling to us.
An old way of living no longer feels right.
Something within us whispers that it is time to move forward, even though the path ahead is not yet clear.
these moments can be frightening.
They can also be sacred.
Nature does not resist every change.
The tree does not cling desperately to each leaf.
The river does not refuse the bend because it cannot see what lies beyond it.
Life continues moving.
Perhaps we are being asked to do the same.
Trust does not mean believing that everything will happen exactly as we hop.
It means remembering that we have within us the strength to meet what comes.
It means listening carefully to the quiet wisdom of the heart.
Sometimes it means taking one small step before the next one has revealed itself.
So this August I invite you to notice where life may be asking you to trust.
Perhaps there is something you have been trying to control.
Perhaps there is a decision you have been afraid to make.
Perhaps there is simply an unanswered question you have carried for a long time.
You do not need to solve it today.
instead, place your hand over your heart.
take a slow breath.
And ask:
What is the next loving step
Then listen.
You do not need to see the entire path.
Sometimes one illuminated step is enough.
may August remind you that change does not always mean something is ending.
Sometimes it means something new is quietly preparing to begin.
Walk gently my fellow traveler.
Trust what is unfolding.
And remember,
the heart is the place of strength, for it is love, and nothing is more powerful than love.
With love and gratitude,

Healing begins when we return to the heart.
September Messages from the Heart
The Grace of Letting Goe
September arrives quietly.
The light begins to change. The evenings come a little earlier. The trees, still holding their green, seem to know that another season is approaching.
Nature does not resist this change.
The tree does not cling to every leaf and say, you must stay.
It simply knows when the time has come to let go.
Perhaps there is something we can learn from this.
So often, we hold tightly to what has been-an old dream, an old hurt, a relationship, a way of seeing ourselves, or simply the belief that life was supposed to unfold differently.
We hold on becuase lettign go can feel like losing.
Letting go is not losing at all.
Sometimes it is making room.
There may be something in your life now that has completed its season. You do not have to push it away. You do not have to judge or regret it.
You can simply thank it for what it has taught you.
And then gently loosen your grasp.
Ask your heart, What am I rady to release?
Then ask yourself
What might become possible if I make room for something new?
You do not need to know what comes next.
The trees do not know what next spring will bring when they release their leaves.
They simply trust the turning of the seasons.
Perhaps we can do the same.
This September, may we have the courage to release what has completed its journey with us-and the faith to trust the quiet space that remains.
For sometimes the empty space is not empty at all.
It is where new life begins.
With love,
Dr. Susan Felice Turner
