Staying Centered

If you are like me, you read the news, watch a podcast or read on social media what is going on in the world and it is hard not to become triggered, sad and feel hopeless..
The important piece is to remember that what each of us does, has an effect on those around us. So, if we maintain a calm, but active stance, without being ruled by our emotional triggers, we allow others to do the same. It does not mean sitting idly by and deign nothing, nor does it mean becoming agitated and violent. It means dropping into the core of your being, listening to your higher self and then deciding when it is time to act and when it is time to be still.
Often, we accomplish more in the stillness, in the silent knowing, in the action when it is appropriate than by being loud and acting out. When we all raise our voices in unitive consciousness the power of unity, is so much stronger than the power of separation. If we point fingers in an us v.s them mode, then we are contributing to separation and hate. If we stand as one in center, in stillness, in higher knowing and focus on what we want to create instead of what we hate, we can move mountains As others have said, do not fight for war, act for peace
